The topic of the conference was participation in and accessibility of cultural programs for all citizens.

In the first part of the conference, Nemanja Krstić from CESK presented the results of the research Needs and Barriers Related to Participation in Cultural Activities, while Dejan Stojković and Dubravka Vujinović presented the work of PLAVO Theatre in the fields of inclusion and accessibility.

A discussion titled Challenges in Attending, Participating in, and Organizing Accessible Cultural Activities was also held, moderated by Dubravka Vujinović and Dejan Stojković, with participation from representatives of civil society, educational and cultural organizations, and institutions from Niš. The outcomes of this very active and inspiring discussion will be presented in the form of recommendations to decision-makers.

We would like to thank all conference participants, as well as Europe House Niš, for their support in organizing the event and for their hospitality.

The project is being implemented within the program “EU Resource Centre for Civil Society in Serbia,” which is carried out by the Belgrade Open School in partnership with its partners and with the support of the European Union.
